This special CANIE Americas event is specifically for Associations across the Americas in support of the CANIE Accord. It will be 90 minutes in duration.

During this session CANIE Americas members will provide a brief overview of the CANIE Accord and will then speak with representatives from three Signatory organizations in the region to hear about their process, commitments, and barriers along the way and how they plan to support their members in climate action. We will be joined by:

• AIEA - Darla Deardoff, Executive Director
• CBIE - Larissa Bezo, President and CEO
• NAFSA - Joann Ng Hartmann, Senior Impact Officer

Following the panel, we'll open up for discussion to all participants to ask questions, share challenges, and how CANIE can help with advancing Climate Action among your members.

It's meant just for associations, consortiums or organizations representing institutions within the international education sector.
