Vanessa recently completed her Master of Digital Business degree and hopes to use her knowledge and skills to assist organisations in implementing business solutions, considering both the human aspects of technology and its broader environmental impact. Her educational journey spans primary and secondary study in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia; a BA in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, Quezon City, Philippines; and her ongoing pursuit of Master of Digital Business at Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) Auckland, New Zealand. She envisions that her diverse experiences as a student will be valuable in her role of Student Board Member.

In just over a year of being in New Zealand, Vanessa has actively engaged in various volunteer roles while completing her studies. She serves as a student mentor at EIT, acted as an ambassador for the month-long Auckland Climate Festival 2023, and dedicates her time to a passion project as the producer of the Deep Transformation Podcast. During her spare time, she enjoys caring for animal companions through housesitting, and exploring Auckland and its many beautiful parks through walking.
