Denner Déda is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark's Centre for Absolute Sustainability (CfAS), where his work focuses on absolute sustainability transitions and quantitative sustainability assessment—including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), and sustainability reporting.

Much of his experience is embedded in complex institutions. He led six annual sustainability reports at the University of Coimbra (a 30,000-person institution), studied the application of the Organisational LCA, the GHG Protocol, the GRI Standards, and the UN Global Compact, and built part of the university's ESG methodology. His research has been published in +15 peer-reviewed papers, and he has participated in many international conferences.

Denner holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Coimbra (UC), along with an MSc in Process, Environment & Energy and a BSc in Chemical Engineering. His work has been recognised with the UNRIC Campus 2030 Award (3rd place, 2020), UC Sustainability Quality Award (2025), and the EDP Energy School Prize (2025). He is a global board member of CANIE and co-founder of PlurieBR.
